End of Life Documents
Everyone – especially senior citizens – should have the following documents:- A power of attorney, to appoint someone to look after your financial affairs if you can’t.
- A health care directive (living will) to appoint someone to make your health care decisions if you can’t. For more information on health care directives, go to the Manitoba Health website: Health Care Directive also known as "The Living Will"
- A funeral plan that indicates what you want to happen when you die.
Here is a funeral plan that you can complete (Word file, download and open in Word)
- A will, to dispose of your property after you die.
- An organ donation card.
